Dispensing Pharmacy


Dispensing pharmacy is that part of the practice of pharmacy in which the pharmacist or the pharmacy technician under his super vision interprets the doctor’s requirements for the drug treatment of his patient. As the expert staffer dispensing medication to patients, you are the last line of protection to avoid tragic faults that could cost a patient their life. Studies show that medication faults are one of the primary causes of death in United States America.  Although not all medications blunders are serious, each one might be. According to the journal of clinical pharmacology, 21% of all dosage errors arise as a result of dispensing errors. However, by result the steps of the dispensing process and using a few good techniques to reduce the risk of error, you can protect the lives of your patients. A massive way to evade errors is to generate the label for the medication as quickly as you have everything validated and clarified. By printing the drug's name, the date of issue,  the dosage, and the patient's name, address and labelling the bottle the patient would  receive, you can keep track of what you are giving and to whom if you are in a busy pharmacy with many customers.
